The Opportunity: Rackspace is seeking world class Cloud Solution Architects (CSAs) to join our Enterprise Technical Sales team. Desired skills:
- Experience in business or technical product marketing in solutions such as MySQL or SQL Server. This means you not only understand what databases are, but can have a conversation about what drives transaction performance in database-centric applications, or how to architect a web application for performance, and you also understand the value of these solutions for DBAs and database developers. Maybe you used to be a DBA or application developer in the past.
- Experience brining high-tech products to market on a global scale. Cloud, Web or Enterprise Software experience highly desired, with ability to quickly assimilate complex technologies and translate them into business value for a specific group of customers (in this case, database developers and DBAs). This means that you are inquisitive, and when you don,t know something, you are intrigued to find out more about the technology and the customer.
- Ability to think, articulate, communicate, think strategically, execute tactically, and work through others in a collaborative fashion, and driven mainly by results as opposed to flash. Basically, you are smart, can work with people, can communicate, and get your stuff done. Maybe you have presented at a reasonably-sized conference or have written some white papers or SQL demos.

This means you are able to get an overview of our business situation, identify the problems, gather data, think, brainstorm, articulate a solution, rally people behind you, and drive to it. Having Linux-related certifications is a big plus, like Red Hat, UCP, CompTIA and MySQL. Experience working in cloud environments is preferred. Ideally, candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent work experience.

In this role you will be: Working with Hadoop, Big Data Development, Data Warehousing, Data Analytics

- Coding test automation in Java and other OO languages
- Working with open source data analytics frameworks like Hadoop
- Working with big Data analytics and business intelligence projects
- Designing and implementing testing infrastructure as well as test cases
- Following Agile Scrum methodology, working alongside collaborative software developers and product owners

Job Requirements

Required Experience/Skills:

- 4+ years of experience in Software Development with a focus on Software Quality Engineering with experience in various test methodologies
- 2+ years of coding experience in either Java or Python
- 3+ years of experience with any database like Oracle, Postgres, SQLServer, or MySQL. Proficient with SQL.
- Business intelligence Reporting
- Raw data collection for data reporting
- Enterprise - large data/scalable systems experience
- Experience with Linux
- Test Experience with data warehousing, ETL, bigdata
- Experience in writing test harness to test application interfaces or APIs, web services
- Strong knowledge of test automation and tools like JUnit, REST, SOAPUI, XMLRPC, etc
- Ability to work independently, triage issues, and prioritize tasks
- Strong team player
- Strong understanding of Quality Processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication, problem solving, interpersonal, and time management skills
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration concepts
- Experience using source code repositories (Git, Subversion, TFS, etc.)

- Experience with Hadoop, noSQL, flume
- Familiarity with advanced software/testing methodologies such as BDD
- Experience with Agile Methodologies (Scrum, XP, Lean, Kanban, etc.)
- Experience with geographically dispersed teams.
- Familiarity with Performance Testing
- Experience with Continuous Deployment concepts
- Familiarity with SOA and SaaS delivery models

We are looking for a Network Engineer III who will be responsible for the engineering, design, configuration, installation, maintenance and upgrade of the local area network (LAN) and/or wide area network (WAN). Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following:

- Good knowledge of network operations
- Good knowledge of Cisco hardware and IOS
- Good knowledge of servers, switches, routers, and various network services
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems is preferred
- CCNA required
- Requires 4 to 5 years of network engineering experience
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer service oriented position preferred
- Must exhibit a FANATICAL customer service attitude
- Good problem solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
