Analyze and refine account types, billing plans, pricing structures, discounting structures, etc.  Understand the capabilities and limitations of the corporate Oracle system and be able to ensure our product needs are well-represented.  Work closely with development teams to ensure billing systems are flexible and well-poised for future growth.<br/><br/><b>Responsibilities:</b><br/><br/>- Serves as liaison between billing operations and development departments during the initial phase of product development<br/><br/>- Meets with end users and Product team to understand business processes<br/><br/>- Gathers and documents functional, system, and data requirements<br/><br/>- Understand the capabilities of the corporate ERP system and be able to represent the Business Unit&#8217;s needs in company-wide initiatives<br/><br/>- Creates detailed technical specifications and data models for development of new or modifications to existing products<br/><br/>- Analyzes results of product testing to ensure product solution matches the documented business need<br/><br/>- Assesses available technologies and recommends solutions to development team<br/><br/>- May play a key role in the training of customer and technical support personnel<br/><br/>- Prepare analytics and/or models to better understand billing metrics and ensure accuracy/completeness<br/><br/>- Conduct operational audits to ensure compliance with company policies<br/><br/>- Research and resolve billing operational issues<br/><br/>- Determine potential weaknesses in internal controls and make changes to correct them<br/><br/>- Develop, recommend and implement process improvements<br/><br/><b>Job Requirements</b><br/><br/>The ideal candidate will have the following:<br/><br/>- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, computer science or marketing<br/><br/>- Typically requires four to five years of experience in the areas of development, project management, and technical business analysis<br/><br/>- Extensive experience working with business billing systems.
